tablissement Bouga T Agriservices's organization, tablissement Bouga T AgriServices, is involved in land restoration activities in the Guidimakha region, Mauritania. These efforts include reforestation, agroforestry, and sustainable land management practices, carried out through the High-Intensity Labour (HIMO) initiative, which actively involves the local community. Additionally, tablissement Bouga T Agriservices is in the proces of establishing a Nature-based Solutions (NbS) center in Wompou, aimed at restoring the regions ecosystems and enhancing climate resilience. The center will focus on reforestation, water conservation, and sustainable agriculture, supporting over 200 hectares of land in collaboration with local religious leaders who emphasize the spiritual connection between the community and nature. This will contribute to both the ecological and social fabric of the region. There is also a need for greater collaboration between local communities and external stakeholders to enhance restoration efforts.
