Join a worldwide coalition for faith-led land restoration.
Faith communities care for about 8% of the world's habitable land. In the G20 Global Land Initiative Faith Stocktake, 76% of them said they lacked the technical knowledge to restore it. Faiths for Land closes that gap: we train communities, then connect them to the partners and funders who can help them act.
The masterclass and membership are two different things. You are welcome to choose one, or to do both.

What Faiths for Land is.
Faiths for Land grew out of two years of work with faith communities, led by the G20 Global Land Initiative and the UNCCD, together with WWF’s Beliefs & Values Programme and the Trillion Trees Initiative. It now runs on its own, and it is open to people of every faith.
When a congregation is ready to grow trees, this is where it finds the technical advice, the seedlings, the funding and the policy backing to do the work well. It is also where partners find communities that are ready to act.
Four things every member gets.
01
Connect
We give faith organizations one place to find the people who can help them, from technical advisers and funders to established restoration groups such as WWF, WRI, and World Vision.
02
Train
Free training through the masterclass: nine modules built on the six-step Faith Tree Growing framework from WWF and Trillion Trees, with facilitator guides, worksheets, and a circle of fellow learners.
03
Speak up together
We bring faith leaders together to speak with one voice at United Nations meetings on land and at other global forums. More than 100 organizations from different traditions have signed the Multifaith Call to Action.
04
Track the impact
Faith-led restoration data sits scattered across hundreds of organizations. We gather it in one place, starting with the 521 projects on our map, and bring the evidence to funders and policymakers.

Faith communities
Whether your community is already restoring land or thinking about where to start, begin with the free masterclass and build your plan there. Tell us about your community and the land you care for, and we will look for partners and funding to match.
Faith communities across 84 countries are ready to plant and want technical guidance. Tell us what you offer, from nurseries and species advice to monitoring, and where you work. We will introduce you to the communities that need it.
Funders
The network, the training and the mapped projects already exist. What limits the work now is money to get seedlings in the ground and keep them alive. We are raising early funding for 2026 and would welcome a conversation about what you want to support.
Policy partners
Work with organized faith voices ahead of the United Nations land summit in Mongolia and across global land and climate talks. Tell us what you are working towards and how faith communities could strengthen it.
