Their League is eager to launch community-driven restoration projects, such as reforestation with native species like coconut and breadfruit trees, soil rehabilitation to combat erosion, and watershed protection to safeguard clean water sources. The organization draw inspiration from faith-based initiatives like the Laudato Si Action Platform, aiming to align with global goals like reducing degraded land by 50% by 2040, as outlined by the G20 Global Land Initiative. The organization plan to focus on Tongatapu and Vavau, targeting degraded coastal areas and community lands impacted by rising sea levels and storms. Specific sites will be identified in collaboration with local parishes, the Diocese, and environmental experts.
