The goal was to provide residents with a meaningful alternative to their current circumstances. The organization secured a grant of EC$10,000.00 to support individuals involved in animal rearing. However, it was found that 95% of the animals were owned by people from outside the village. Local men cared for the animals primarily ensuring the animals had reliable acces to water throughout the day. Additionally, the organization implemented other psychosocial support initiatives. The organization has observed a decrease in violence and truancy. An afterschool literacy program now runs twice a week, and children have become more disciplined, thanks in part to the incorporation of music and sports as tools for behavioral development. Outreach primarily o the male population is of primary importance in the 2025/2027 initiatives. Their goal is to support both the men and women of the village by helping them engage in a sustainable agricultural project that can serve more sustainable models of agriculture and animal husbandry. Another significant concern is securing sufficient funding to support the those engaged in the project for approximately eight months, the estimated time required before the agricultural activities begin to yield returns.
